The Starlight Theatre is one of only two outdoor theaters existing in Missouri. Many prominent Broadway musical performances, such as Miss Saigon and Aida, play at this theater, which is located in Kansas City's Swope Park. The idea for a theater under the stars was thought up in the early 1920s, but the ground wasn't broken until 1949.
