Kansas City is famous for its fountains, second only to Rome in terms of the number of decorative water spouts that adorn the city. The Arabia Steamboat Museum looks at steam-driven travel on the local rivers and features pieces of the Arabia Steamboat, which sunk on a voyage to Kansas City in 1853.
